Creado en 1970 lleva celebrando desde entonces reuniones en diferentes lugares del mundo. En esta ocasi\u00f3n la ciudad elegida es Madrid y el tema es Desaf\u00edos para la fe en las sociedades contempor\u00e1neas.<br \/>Su objetivo es fomentar el trabajo conjunto en los \u00e1mbitos de la acci\u00f3n social y el antisemitismo, tratando temas como la familia, la educaci\u00f3n, los derechos humanos, la ecolog\u00eda, la justicia y la caridad, la libertad religiosa.<br \/>Por parte cat\u00f3lica participar\u00e1n, entre otros, los cardenales Koch, Rouco Varela, Sistach, los obispos Brian Farrell, Giacinto Marcuzzo, Braulio Rodr\u00edguez, Javier Mart\u00ednez, William Murphy, el Custodio de Tierra Santa. <br \/>Por parte jud\u00eda estar\u00e1n presentes, entre otros, Betty Ehrenberg, Isaac Querub, Martin Budd, los rabinos David Sandmel, David Rosen, David Berger.<br \/>Intervendr\u00e1n el domingo en el acto de apertura Betty Ehrenberg, Kurt Koch, el cardenal Antonio Mar\u00eda Rouco Varela e Isaac Querub Caro.
